Alan Pardew reacts to Rangers fan's P45 claim, another wants him to replace Rohl
Danny Rohl is at risk of losing his job after Rangers lost to Celtic in the Scottish Gas Scottish Cup on Sunday.
One Gers fan told Alan Pardew after the cup quarter-final loss to the Hoops on penalties on 8 March that managers of the Old Firm clubs are likely to be handed their P45 if they fail to win a trophy.
The former Crystal Palace boss has admitted that there’s extreme pressure to win at the Glaswegian clubs, but Hearts seem to be the favourites in the William Hill Premiership this season.
Rohl has turned the tide at Ibrox since replacing Russell Martin, but that may not be enough for some who believe the Light Blues should lift silverware at the end of the campaign.

Danny Rohl leaves fans baffled after one decision in Rangers loss vs Celtic
Rohl’s in-game management has been questioned as the Gers’ hope of going all the way in the Scottish Cup ended at Ibrox.
Celtic were by far the second-best team on the day, but the Light Blues were unable to take advantage of the multiple mistakes Martin O’Neill’s team made in Govan.
Going to penalties was always going to be a lottery, and the Hoops eventually came out the winners after James Tavernier and Djeidi Gassama failed to hit the target from the spot.
Rohl replaced Mikey Moore for Nedim Bajrami in the second half, leaving supporters scratching their heads, and some are now wondering whether the German manager has a future in G51.
Speaking on talkSPORT on 8 March, Pardew said, “Yeah, there’s a big pressure. It’s a real opportunity to be the manager of one of those two clubs because they’ve got a great chance of winning trophies, as has been proven over the years by the managers of those clubs.
“When you’ve got this run of Hearts, backed by Tony Bloom, giving them real competition this year, and as he’s quite rightly saying they’re looking favourites, don’t they at the moment?”
Who can replace Danny Rohl at Ibrox?
One supporter called into talkSPORT and claimed that he wouldn’t mind Pardew taking over Rangers.
The Ibrox faithful believe questions must be asked of Rohl after back-to-back disappointments against Celtic, with O’Neill’s team managing a comeback from two goals down to draw 2-2 in Govan a week earlier.

Kevin Muscat is a name that has been heavily linked with taking over the Light Blues in recent months, while Steven Gerrard’s fairytale return in G51 has also been a dream for some time.
Andrew Cavenagh and 49ers Enterprises backed the German manager in the winter transfer window, but the mood at Ibrox seems to be changing for the worse once more, which may force the American ownership’s hand.
