Aston Villa fans all say the same about Tammy Abraham as new footage emerges from Besiktas
Aston Villa supporters are ready to welcome Tammy Abraham back to the Premier League as interest mounts for the striker.
Mick Brown revealed to Football Insider that Abraham wants to rejoin Villa amid plenty of speculation over his future in Turkey, where he currently has 13 goals and three assists in 25 games.
With Donyell Malen set to leave Villa Park, Unai Emery will be desperate to restock his forward line before the January transfer window closes, and the club appear to be choosing nostalgia this month.
Ollie Watkins has struggled for large parts of the season, only really finding form in recent weeks, so a potential move for Abraham has been much anticipated in the Midlands.
Despite the rumours, the 28-year-old played 66 minutes and scored against Keciorengucu in the Turkish Cup on Thursday, 15 January, but fans think they’ve spotted a huge hint about his next move.
Aston Villa fans are adamant Tammy Abraham has waved farewell
Watching Abraham’s post-match actions, Villa supporters are absolutely sure that their former striker is ready for an emotional reunion this month, taking to social media to spread their joy.
One fan wrote, “Think that’s him saying goodbye,” and many others agreed, with the phrase, “he’s coming home,” emerging on X shortly after his goal in the Turkish Cup.
Abraham spent just one season at Villa Park, but in that short space of time, he notched 26 goals and three assists in the Championship before spending two full seasons with Chelsea.

Abraham avoids answering question over his future in new footage
When walking through the mixed zone after full-time, the England international stopped to sign his autograph, while also being asked, “Are you staying at Besiktas?”
Of course, he laughed the question off before making a very quick escape, and that has only exacerbated the questions being asked over his future this month.
Understandably, Besiktas fans don’t want him to leave, with very few creating similar numbers for their team, but he is such a loved figure back at Villa Park, too.
With plenty of experience across the divisions, it is certainly a smart move from the Villans, and he will be expected to absolutely flourish under Emery’s guidance and leadership.
