Celtic next manager: Oliver Glasner odds tumble for long-term role
Celtic are increasingly likely to appoint Oliver Glasner as their manager for the 2026-27 campaign.
With Martin O’Neill set to leave his post at the Hoops at the end of the season, the club are on the lookout for a long-term replacement.
As a result, many managers have been linked to the role, and now, Glasner has emerged as a potential candidate.
One UK bookmaker believes a switch from Crystal Palace to Celtic Park is possible in the summer at 40/1, with Oddschecker on 13 April confirming that these odds have been slashed.
Glasner is set to depart Selhurst Park in the summer when his contract expires, which could make a shock Celtic appointment relatively simple.

Who is Oliver Glasner?
In recent years, Glasner has established himself as one of the most successful managers in Europe.
After finding success at SV Ried, LASK and VfL Wolfsburg, his biggest breakthrough came at Eintracht Frankfurt.

At the German club, he oversaw a Europa League title, beating Rangers on penalties in 2022.
In 2024, he joined Crystal Palace and continued his streak of winning silverware. In 2025, he won both the FA Cup and the Community Shield as the Eagles won their first major trophies.
Despite a dip in form this campaign, Palace are heavy favourites to win the Conference League, which could allow the 51-year-old to bow out on a high at the club.
While he has announced that he will be leaving Palace at the end of the season, he has yet to confirm his next club, which could leave an opening for Celtic to make a move.
Who else is linked to the Celtic job?
Former Aberdeen chief executive Keith Wyness has exclusively told Football Insider that Robbie Keane could be appointed Celtic manager to try to mend the relationship between the fans and the board.
Currently, the bookies have the former Hoops star as the favourite to take over at 13/8 as he continues to impress at Hungarian side Ferencvaros.
