Chelsea: Liam Rosenior sack odds slashed after latest departure update
Chelsea could be on the hunt for a new manager yet again this season, with Liam Rosenior now the favourite to be dismissed next in the Premier League.
Pressure has increased on the manager after the 3-0 defeat to Chelsea on the weekend.
This followed a humiliating defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League, with the Blues continuing to look unlikely to qualify for the competition next season.
Now, Rosenior has been placed at 5/2 odds to be the next Premier League manager to leave, coming down from 3/1 yesterday.
Below Football Insider has examined where it has gone wrong in Rosenior’s Blues reign so far.

Can Liam Rosenior survive ongoing Chelsea pressure?
Eyebrows were raised when Chelsea opted to hire Rosenior in January, with the manager having no previous experience in the Premier League.
However, he quickly proved his doubters wrong, going on a wonderful early winning run in the Premier League.

Yet, in recent weeks, this quality has vanished, with Chelsea looking leaky at the back, and continuing to provide little to no goal threat.
Recent weeks have seen the Blues narrowly get past Wrexham in the FA Cup, before suffering four consecutive defeats to Newcastle, PSG and Everton.
Throughout these four fixtures, the manager has made some baffling decisions, most notably in the goalkeeping departure, which has cost Chelsea in multiple fixtures.
When a manager’s decision-making is constantly resulting in defeats, the writing is usually on the wall, and it remains to be seen if Rosenior can survive in the dugout until next season.
Who else is in the Premier League sack race?
While Rosenior is under pressure, Football Insider recently revealed that Chelsea will give their manager time to try and turn things around.
As a result, it is no surprise that Oliver Glasner also remains the favourite to depart next at 5/2, with the Crystal Palace manager set to leave the club at the end of the season when his contract expires.
Manager (club) Odds to leave Primary pressure point Oliver Glasner (Crystal Palace) 5/2 Expiring contract Liam Rosenior (Chelsea) 5/2 Four consecutive defeats Arne Slot (Liverpool) 11/4 Potential Champions League qualification failure Eddie Howe (Newcastle) 3/1 Poor recent form Scott Parker (Burnley) 9/2 Potential relegation
Arne Slot is next on the list at 11/4, with the Liverpool manager under heavy pressure as defeats continue to come his way.
Newcastle United’s Tyne-Wear derby defeat has also not helped out Eddie Howe, who is 3/1 to depart next.
Scott Parker has also not been ruled out at 9/2, with Burnley looking almost certain to be in the Championship again next season.
