Danny Rohl has just proven he’s out of his depth with bizarre Rangers claim
Danny Rohl is once again under serious pressure at Rangers after the 2-1 defeat to Hearts on Monday.
The Gers are now all but out of the title race, sitting seven points behind the Jambos at the summit with three games left to play.
On top of this, Champions League qualification is not out of their hands, as they go into the Old Firm derby four points behind Celtic in second.
The collapse of the club post-split has been remarkable, with Rangers losing both of their matches so far.
Now, with Rohl claiming that their recent form is not down to mentality issues shows how out of depth he is at Rangers.

Danny Rohl: Rangers’ defeat are not a mentality issue
It looked as if Rangers’ title ambitions were back on track on Monday when they went 1-0 up early on at Tynecastle.
However, a horrific second-half collapse saw the side come away with nothing for their troubles, with multiple stars putting in horrendous displays.
Position Team Points Goal difference 1st Hearts 76 32 2nd Celtic 73 27 3rd Rangers 69 33
This followed on from their late 3-2 defeat to Motherwell, where the club could not secure a result despite an initial comeback.
After the Hearts game, Rohl spoke to BBC Sport on 4 May, and claimed that the current defeat was not due to mentality issues.
He said: “This is not about mentality. Everyone who plays football knows what happens if the home team make the equaliser, then the crowd is there. The crowd in the first half was very quiet.
“It’s not enough to play 45 minutes on a high level, you have to play 90 minutes on your highest level.”
However, this is simply a bizzare take.
Going into the split, Rangers were arguably the form team, and for the first time all season, the favourites to win the title.
Yet, over the past two weeks, they have doubled their Scottish Premiership defeats to four, and look likely to finish the campaign in third.

This is not the first time Rangers have bottled important games this season, after losing a 2-0 lead to Celtic to draw 2-2 back in March, before losing in a penalty shootout in the Scottish Cup the week after.
Therefore, it is clear that Rangers have a massive mentality problem when it comes to big games, and the pressure is on.
If Rohl cannot see this, he is massively out of his depth at Ibrox, and a change in the dugout needs to be made.
Will Rangers sack Rohl?
Football Insider exclusively revealed back in March that Rangers had no plans on sacking Rohl.
The Gers were happy with the job he was doing, especially given the turmoil he took on after Russell Martin’s exit.
As a result, given that their position in the table has not changed since this revolution, it is hard to see Rangers giving the boot to Rohl anytime soon.
However, whether Rohl can survive a lacklustre start to the next campaign is another question, with fans already annoyed with their manager.
