Elite club adviser: Tottenham work underway to hire new manager, this is who they'll settle on to replace Tudor
Tottenham Hotspur could end up appointing Sean Dyche to save the club from Premier League relegation.
That is according to ex-Everton, Aston Villa, and Aberdeen chief executive Keith Wyness, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, as Igor Tudor faces the sack at Spurs.
Tudor has failed to win a Premier League game in interim charge of the north London club, leaving them just a point above the bottom three.
Spurs have seven games left to preserve their Premier League status, starting with a trip to Sunderland after the international break.
Dyche is available to become Spurs’ next manager after being sacked by relegation rivals Nottingham Forest in February after only 114 days in charge.

Sean Dyche an ‘option’ for Tottenham job
Everton’s former chief Keith Wyness – who served as CEO at Goodison Park between 2004 and 2009 and now runs a football consultancy advising elite clubs – thinks the appointment of Tudor has turned out to be a “slight mistake.”
Speaking on the new edition of Football Insider‘s Inside Track podcast, Wyness believes the club should now be looking for a manager with Premier League experience.

He told Football Insider‘s Inside Track podcast: “They’ll be working on it (hiring a new manager), of course, but I think if I was there, I’d be trying to get someone with hands-on experience of the Premier League in there rather than bringing anybody else in, which I think maybe Tudor was a slight mistake.
“I’d have gone for a Premier League experience and, therefore, it leads us to the question, is Sean Dyche going to come back and do that job for them again? I think he may well be the option that they settle on.”
Complications emerge in Roberto De Zerbi pursuit
Wyness also told Football Insider that Spurs could appoint a manager on a short-term basis if target Roberto De Zerbi does not wish to join until the end of the season.
De Zerbi may be interested in the Spurs job, but only if he can wait until the end of the season and find out whether the club remain in the Premier League.
The Italian does have Premier League experience with Brighton, and has been out of work since mutually agreeing to leave Marseille in February.
