Tottenham are staring down the barrel of Premier League relegation, with fans now ready to ramp up protests towards the running of the club.

Thursday night’s 3-1 defeat to Crystal Palace at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was completely disastrous, as Igor Tudor’s side imploded within seven minutes at the end of the first half.

Micky van de Ven’s red card summed up Spurs’ season, and they now sit just one point above the relegation zone with nine games to go.

West Ham, Nottingham Forest and Leeds United have all shown character in recent weeks, and there’s a serious concern that Tottenham‘s players have given up.

It’s not been good enough for the fans, who continue to make noise about how unhappy they are with ENIC at the helm.

Protests planned for Nottingham Forest and Brighton matches

It’s clear that the Spurs fans deserve better, and although they experienced the joy of winning the Europa League in May 2025, they could be in for a very different feeling 12 months on.

The Change for Tottenham fan group released a statement via X on Thursday that read: “The upcoming Nottingham Forest and Brighton protests must send a clear message that the supporters of this club will no longer accept decline, excuses and broken promises.

“Both the Nottingham Forest and Brighton protests must be massive. Forest will include a post-match stadium protest inside the stadium.”

With Forest currently sat in 17th place, their meeting in N17 could prove to be one of the biggest games in Tottenham’s recent history.

A loss to Vitor Pereira’s side would leave the toxicity around the stadium at an all-time high, and if the fans were to sit in after a defeat, then ENIC could no longer ignore the problem.

They need to be held accountable not just for this campaign’s mess, but for the gradual decline in the team over the past few years.

And if every fan were read the statement and join in on the protest, then there’s a small chance it might have some effect on ENIC’s long-term future.

The only way the owners will get the message is if they see 60-thousand-plus fans unite against them as one.

Tottenham’s remaining fixtures don’t make for good reading

As the table below shows, Spurs have four home games left, with Nottingham Forest, Brighton, Leeds and Everton yet to play in N17 this season.

Not only will those teams prove tough tests for Tudor’s men, but it’s the away games that are particularly concerning.

They face Liverpool at Anfield next, with Sunderland, Wolves, Aston Villa and Chelsea still on the calendar.

It’s hard to see a win coming from any of those matches, so it’ll be at home where they could have a chance of securing three points.

But given the fact that they haven’t done that in 2026 so far, Tottenham fans will have no faith in their players.
