Ex-coach: 'Unstable' Chelsea player could be on his way out as problems repeat themselves
Alejandro Garnacho could be on his way out of Chelsea in the summer transfer window just one year after making the big-money move from Man United.
The 21-year-old has failed to impress at Stamford Bridge so far and is one of a number of players having fingers pointed at them for behind-the-scenes issues.
Chelsea’s squad have faced major problems in the dressing room this season leading to the recent dismissal of Liam Rosenior, and have faced questioning as a result.
Former Man United assistant manager Mick Brown told Football Insider that Chelsea are open to offers for Garnacho ahead of the summer window opening.
The Argentina international has been branded an “unstable” character and could be part of a huge reshuffle as Chelsea accelerate their transfer plans.

Could Chelsea look to cash in on Alejandro Garnacho?
Brown told Football Insider in March that Chelsea are not happy with Garnacho, and Rosenior had been left concerned by his performances since his arrival.
The winger joined last summer in a £40million move from Man United and has failed to live up to his price tag in what has been a disappointing campaign.

Chelsea are now set to assess their squad in the summer, with Champions League football now out of reach, and Garnacho could be on the chopping block.
“Garnacho has always been a bit of an unstable character,” Brown told Football Insider.
“It was a concern when he was at Man United, that’s why they were so willing to let him go, and now Chelsea are experiencing the same worries.
“At his best, he’s the type of player who can change the game in a moment, but would you want to rely on him for 40 game a season to make the difference?
“The answer is no and Chelsea are finding that out now, they can’t rely on him to come up with the goods when they need him to.
“Garnacho is typical of that Chelsea squad and the issues they’ve had in the dressing room which they desperately need to sort out in the summer.
“Whether that’s letting players go who have caused problems or bringing in experienced heads to get a handle on it, they need to do something about it.
“Garnacho and a few of the other players could be let go if they’re having a negative impact, so it’s important that Chelsea make that decision.”
Who could join Garnacho in a mass exodus from Chelsea?
Garnacho is not the only player causing concerns behind the scenes at Stamford Bridge amid a growing feeling the squad is in need of a major overhaul.
Enzo Fernandez is also one of the leading concerns for the Blues after he was exiled from the squad under Rosenior, despite returning under interim boss Calum McFarlane.

Brown told Football Insider last month that Chelsea will accept offers for Fernandez after he publicly confessed his desire to one day play for Real Madrid.
His comments also hit out at the Chelsea board as he questioned why Enzo Maresca was let go, and ultimately played a part in Rosenior’s departure.
Fernandez’s outburst marked the major downfall in Chelsea’s form this season, and in an attempt to reinvigorate the squad, he could be moved on.
