Ex-Everton CEO: Friedkins will be delighted with what evidence suggests in latest financial data
Everton have recently released their latest accounts, with the improvements clear to see.
After years of financial scare under Farhad Moshiri, the Friedkin Group have come in and made them disappear within the space of a couple of years.
With the Hill Dickinson Stadium proving a huge success already, recent turnover hit £196.7million, with losses dropping by nearly £50m.
These results are from the final year of Goodison Park, too, so they are only set to improve even further.
Keith Wyness has noted that when looking at the latest Everton finances, saying even more can be done to go one step further in the Premier League.

Friedkin Group very happy with Everton accounts
David Moyes has Everton flying in the Premier League, on track for Europe, and he finally has owners supporting the Toffees off the pitch as well.
Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, Wyness insists that the Friedkins will be delighted with the latest accounts, stating that they have a great chance to continue improving revenues, too.
“Overall, you’ve got to be very happy with that,” the ex-Everton CEO started.
“I mean, it’s a case of getting back to financial stability away from big instability.
“I think the Friedkins have proven on this side of things to be very good owners, certainly. One thing you’ve got to remember, though, is that Everton is not yet, in my opinion, self-sustaining and a lot will depend on how well they maximise the revenues out of the new stadium.”

Everton accounts set to improve further
Wyness went on to suggest that the sale of the Women’s team did help these latest accounts, but they must use that to move forward and keep improving.
“These numbers only come up to the end of Goodison, and so we haven’t seen the uplift on the new stadium, but really, well, we’ve seen some third-party events happening at the new stadium; it’s a little bit slower, but they’ve got to do that to actually break things in and get to understand how they operate,” he went on.
“But we’ve got to see those improvements in revenue coming through, and then Everton can be self-sustaining.
“The sale of Goodison to the women’s team is a one-off. Well, it certainly helped, and the timing was excellent. It does give you a chance to move forward.
“But a lot now will depend on the present executive team and how they commercialise and make that difference in the new stadium.”
