Ferguson says Rohl has given 49ers no choice as Rangers transfer plans outlined
Rangers are continuing to splash the cash this month and their spending does not appear to be over just yet.
Andreas Skov Olsen is set to arrive at Ibrox imminently and could make his debut as early as Friday, all going to plan.
The winger will follow Tuur Rommens and Tochi Chukwuani in joining Rangers in what is shaping up to be a very busy winter window.
More new arrivals could be on the cards, too, with BK Hacken’s Silas Anderson another to be linked with a move to Rangers.
And in the view of Derek Ferguson, Rangers‘ financial backers are ironically being forced to spend thanks to the success of Danny Rohl since taking over at Ibrox.

Danny Rohl success fuelling fresh Rangers hope
Rangers are six points behind leaders Hearts, and level on points with Celtic, after Wednesday’s round of fixtures.
The title race is very much on, though, in what could be a thrilling three-way tussle for the ages.
And former Rangers player Ferguson, speaking exclusively to Ibrox News, hopes 49ers Enterprises and Andrew Cavenagh get fully behind Rohl this month with even more signings.
“The manager should absolutely be having a say in who joins next, and that’s due to what he’s achieved since he’s been here,” Ferguson said.
“We all had our doubts early on, whether he was a yes man, but the proof is in the pudding. He’s got Rangers playing in a way where there’s a togetherness and character.
“They’re not disintegrating anymore, and that’s purely down to the manager. They were far from this under Martin. “Rohl’s proved himself and now it’s down to the 49ers to give him some ammunition.
“If it costs a few bob, and if it means spending more money, then so be it. Just give the manager the opportunity to see if he can deliver a league title.”

Rohl is very much forcing 49ers’ hand, with Rangers still needing further quality in some areas if they are to overhaul both Celtic and Hearts.
What area needs to be strengthened next at Rangers?
A left-back and midfielder have been signed so far, while a right-winger is also set to arrive, so where next for Rangers?
As Ferguson himself told Ibrox News, another central midfielder would also be welcome at Rangers. Another prolific striker would also be nice, of course.
Appearances 19 Goals 8 Assists 4 Big chances created 5 Goal conversion 20%
The Gers have plenty of central midfielders on their books, but too many are just not fancied by Rohl and are not being used.
Someone who can control games is seen as a priority, but finding that player is easier said than done.
Cavenagh, Paraag Marathe and Co. deserve big praise for getting stuck in this month, but let’s hope the business does not finish with Skov Olsen.
