Grealish opens door for extended Everton stay as deal hinges on Man City agreement - report
Jack Grealish is now said to be open to extending his stay at Everton beyond this season.
David Moyes is a huge fan of the winger, but has already admitted that the Blues cannot afford the £50million buy option that Man City inserted in their loanee’s contract.
A permanent stay has been talked about for a separate fee in the region of £20m, while the potential of another loan move is also there.
As per a reliable Everton news source, Bobble via X, the 30-year-old is keen on extending his stay at Hill Dickinson Stadium if an agreement can be reached between the Toffees and his parent club, Manchester City.
Grealish has been a big miss for Moyes in the last couple of weeks due to a foot injury that has kept the forward on the sidelines, but he may not have played his last game for Everton after all.

Where do Everton currently stand over Jack Grealish deal?
Everton have confidence that they can sign Grealish, with his future at the Etihad Stadium all but over.
One of the biggest stumbling blocks could be his wages, but if the Englishman is wanting a Finch Farm return this summer, then he may have to take a pay cut.
Area of game Stats Matches (starts) 20 (18) Minutes played 1631 Goal involvements 8 Chances created 38 FotMob rating 7.21
As seen in the table above, Grealish has a high 7.21 average FotMob rating in the Premier League with the Blues this season, and is wanted back by every Evertonian.
There’s a high likelihood that the Toffees could be playing in a European competition next season, which may also encourage Grealish to stay in Merseyside.

Everton wants to sign him permanently and would most likely pay a fee in the region of £20m for his services.
However, the Friedkin Group would need to see Man City compromise, as they rated him at £50m last summer.
Why Everton won’t pay Grealish’s current six-figure salary
Grealish’s deal with Manchester City expires in June 2027, which means he will have around 12 months left on his current deal this summer.
The Blues have a greater chance of landing his permanent signature because of this, but wages may ultimately be the most important topic in the discussions.

The left-winger is reportedly on £225,000 per week, but Everton would want him to lower his demands in contract talks.
However, the first step is for the Toffees to reach an agreement with Pep Guardiola’s side.
