Called up to the national team as Thomas Tuchel prepares for the upcoming World Cup, the midfielder was handed his debut at Wembley on Friday night.
On an evening with not too much to write home about from an England perspective, the 25-year-old shone in the middle of the park – being named Man of the Match following proceedings.
Having the praise piled on his shoulders since, Everton teammate Grealish has been among those showing love for his performance.

Jack Grealish joins in with James Garner praise
Grealish joined the club last summer, and had become a big player for Moyes during the season’s early days, before his campaign came to an end through injury in January.
Despite this, the Manchester City loanee has remained a big positive behind the scenes, and has always been quick to share the love for his teammates.

That has once again been the case with Garner, who took to Instagram to celebrate making his debut for the senior England team.
Grealish commented with some blue love heart emojis, while multiple others among the Everton ranks also took the chance to join in after Garner’s dazzling England display.
“Congrats brother,” said defender James Tarkowski, while Tim Iroegbunam chipped in with “The boyyy.”
After a slow start to life at the club, Garner has continued to improve throughout his time, and a strong end to the season could come with the huge reward of a World Cup call this summer.
Strong end to season could bring huge benefits for James Garner and Everton
As of now, Moyes’ side find themselves locked in a battle for European football.
Moving to Hill Dickinson Stadium last summer, the Toffees are looking to continue growing as a club, and challenge towards the top end of the Premier League.
They have had a fantastic head start with their current form, after multiple years fighting at the wrong end of the standings – Garner’s continued growth has played an integral role in this.

Alongside the aforementioned Grealish, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Iliman Ndiaye and more, Everton have an incredibly strong base to build from moving forward.
A first European finish since 2017 would bring further benefits when it comes to the summer transfer market, while a similar strong end to the season for Garner could see him pick up an incredible reward – a place in Tuchel’s World Cup squad.
