Ibrox View: Rangers fans will love player's Celtic confession as Old Firm 'experience' revealed
Rangers fans are falling in love with Mikey Moore, and his goal against Celtic in January may have been the moment that changed the forward’s prospects at Ibrox.
The winger has started to become a fan favourite in Glasgow, with many supporters hopeful of the Tottenham loanee staying with the Bears for the long term.
Moore took his time to settle in at Ibrox, but under Danny Rohl, he has become one of the first names on the teamsheet.
His goal in Gers’ 3-1 win over Celtic at Celtic Park in January may have been the shifting moment in his career with the Light Blues, and it’s certainly one he doesn’t forget.
Rohl will want Moore to stay at the club, just as much as every other Rangers fan, who will be happy to hear his breakdown of that goal he scored against the Hoops this year.

Mikey Moore hopes Celtic goal lives long in Rangers memory
Moore has not closed the door on staying with Rangers, with his parent club, Tottenham, currently in trouble in the Premier League.
The Lilywhites are one point off the relegation zone, and a drop to the Championship may mean having to sell some of their youth stars, which is music to the ears of Gers supporters.

In a newly released video by Spurs, Moore spoke about his time with Rangers so far, while the 18-year-old touched on his goal in the Old Firm derby earlier this year.
Moore said: “I was running off, and one of the policemen wanted to stop me. I said get off. You’ve got the Celtic fans behind me, I was like [laughs].
“You kind of get to experience how they [Rangers fans] are feeling. That goal has made so many people so happy, just buzzing about what I’ve done. Hopefully, they’ll remember that for however many years more.”
They certainly will, and hopefully it’s not the last Old Firm goal that the teenager will score, as his time with the Bears could be up soon.
What else did Spurs video tell us about Moore?
The fact that Spurs saw Moore as someone they could use for a short documentary is slightly worrying.
It almost sends a message that the Lilywhites see the forward as untouchable, regardless of their own situation, as they could have big plans for him in the future.

As Moore has already said, he could come back to Ibrox next season, and though a loan would be a win, it would also probably be his second and final campaign with the Bears.
Tottenham rate the wide man very highly, and Moore’s comments may have kept Gers fans in dreamland. However, stranger things have happened in football.
