Ibrox View: Rangers have perfect fuel to seal Premiership title, Rohl must lean into player anger
Rangers could be set for a big final push in the final stretch of the Scottish Premiership title race.
The Gers have had a seriously mixed campaign, but could still end it off by lifting silverware at Ibrox under Danny Rohl.
It has been five years since the Premiership made its way to Govan when Steven Gerrard guided his side to an impressive win ahead of Celtic.
The Hoops have dropped off this campaign, and it now appears to be a straight shootout with Hearts to seal the title in the final weeks.
Rangers will be hopeful of winning the title, especially after an insight emerged from inside the dressing room in Govan.

Danny Rohl must lean into anger in Rangers dressing room
Things haven’t been good at Ibrox for many years, with the likes of Russell Martin, Philippe Clement and Michael Beale all struggling.
Those three were pretty terrible for the Light Blues and were deservedly shown the door and ultimately replaced in G51.
Manager Season(s) Matches Win rate (%) Points per game Russell Martin 2025-26 7 14 1.1 Philippe Clement 2023-25 86 64 2.1 Michael Beale 2022-23 43 72 2.3
Rohl is easily the best appointment since the departure of Giovanni van Bronckhorst after his Europa League heroics, despite not winning the league during his tenure.
That is a true criticism of the Dutchman’s reign, and that could soon be forced on the current Gers boss if he doesn’t achieve that goal.
He needs any advantage he can get over Hearts right now, and that could be the anger within his squad over their public perception.
Barry Ferguson revealed to the Daily Record on Friday that his former side feel the negative reviews that emerge away from Ibrox.

He said: “I’ve heard the criticism. We all have. And I can tell you for a fact they’ve heard it inside that dressing room too. Does it bother them? Does it anger them? You better believe it does. And so it should.
“What they have to do now is flip all that stuff on its head. In fact, I’d be making a point of bringing it up before kick-off.”
Rangers are set to face Dundee United next, with Rohl given all the motivation he needs to spur his players on for the final weeks of the season.
How Rangers can win the Scottish Premiership
It certainly won’t be easy, but the title race could soon be in the Gers’ hands if just one or two results go their way moving forward.
They currently sit just three points behind Hearts and already have a better goal difference than Derek McInnes’ side.
That advantage could prove to be massive if the Maroons are to lose at any point, as that would leave the door open for Rangers to swoop in.

The title race could also swing massively in the Light Blues’ favour if they can seal victory against Hearts and Celtic post-split.
That would be a massive feat, but with anger behind them and a fire in their bellies at Ibrox, it could be entirely possible.
