Journo shares what En-Nesyri says about Jan move, Everton send loan-to-buy bid
Everton are looking to sign Fenerbahce striker Youssef En-Nesyri on loan with an option to buy for around £17million.
The centre-forward is being eyed by the Toffees, who are looking to add more firepower to their forward line in the winter transfer window.
En-Nesyri is expected to leave Fenerbahce in January, with the 28-year-old currently with the Morocco national team competing at the Africa Cup of Nations.
David Moyes has been left frustrated by Beto and Thierno Barry, and it’s no surprise to see the Merseyside outfit pursue the attacker.
Youssef En-Nesyri to demand £5m in wages, wants move to warm country amid Everton interest
Turkish journalist Sercan Hamzaoglu has claimed that En-Nesyri has received two offers from England.
While the Toffees may well be one of the teams pursuing the Moroccan star, a move to the Hill Dickinson Stadium seems unlikely since he wants to sign for a club in a warm climate.
It has also been suggested that the striker will demand around £5m in wages, and his situation will certainly be worth watching closely.
Speaking on 343 Digital, Hamzaoglu said, “Two offers have come from England for En-Nesyri. The player says this: ‘I want to play ball in countries where I can walk around in slippers.'”
The journalist added, “Fenerbahce needs to resolve the En-Nesyri situation. The player is saying, ‘I guarantee I’ll demand €6m in salary plus I’m going to a warm country.'”
While Fabrizio Romano’s update will encourage some supporters in L4, it remains to be seen whether Moyes can convince En-Nesyri to join him.
Youssef En-Nesyri transfer to spell end for player at Hill Dickinson Stadium
Beto and Barry have failed to live up to expectations this season, and it makes sense for the Toffees to look for a new number nine.
The former Villarreal striker has slowly started to show his qualities at Everton, but he still has a lot of room for improvement.

As for the Guinea-Bissau international, he has struggled for regular starts under Moyes this season, and the addition of En-Nesyri will surely only push him further down the pecking order.
If the Blues do get a deal over the line for the Morocco international, it may prompt Beto to push for an exit in January or next summer.
