King backs Tottenham to capitalise on 'funny situation' to hire new manager who could 'walk out at any time'
Tottenham could pay out for a new head coach rather than bringing Ange Postecoglou back.
Postecoglou has been linked with a Tottenham return just six months after he left to be replaced by Thomas Frank in North London.
It feels as if Frank is walking on thin ice at Tottenham and could face the sack within the coming weeks if results don’t seriously improve.
There have been suggestions that Postecoglou could move back to Tottenham on an interim basis to see out the season if the Dane is let go.
The prospect of Postecoglou’s return to N17 has now been assessed, with another option potentially on the cards at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Tottenham could appoint Oliver Glasner instead of Ange Postecoglou
The Australian could be a useful fallback if the ex-Brentford boss were to lose his job, even if it is an admission of getting their summer decision wrong.
The former Celtic boss seemingly has a better relationship with the players that could prove to be what’s needed in North London right now.
That isn’t the feeling of ex-scout Bryan King, who isn’t sold on the idea of Postecoglou and would rather other options be assessed.

He has suggested that Spurs could go out and land the appointment of Oliver Glasner and pay to get him out of a turbulent Crystal Palace.
Speaking exclusively to Tottenham News, King said: “I wouldn’t be interested in bringing Ange Postecoglou back.
“The question is, who would you bring in? It’s very difficult, because who is out of work right now?
“You’re looking around, and it’s a funny situation at Crystal Palace with Glasner because he could walk out at any time.
“Would they go for him? At the moment, Spurs would have to pay for them if they want him.“
Glasner would come highly-rated from Crystal Palace
The walls may be collapsing in on the Austrian right now at Selhurst Park, but there is no doubting his quality as a head coach.
He has lost Marc Guehi, Ebere Eze and Michael Olise within the past two years and could soon lose Jean-Philippe Mateta.
That has seen him say he feels “abandoned” at Palace, which is a blow to the Eagles based on how well liked he is there.
Former Crystal Palace boss Alan Pardew gushed over Glasner on talkSPORT previously, as he said: “He’s done a brilliant job, there’s no doubt about that, he knows how to win Premier League games, he’s changed the system at the club, they’ve been an outstanding team.“
Winning football matches is something that Tottenham haven’t done enough of in recent months, so bringing someone in who can do that may be a perfect replacement for Frank.
