Luis Enrique would be a massive success at Man United
While Michael Carrick has done some excellent work at Old Trafford, there is no doubt that Enrique has an excellent CV.
The manager has rarely failed at any job he has been given, and finally ended PSG’s hunt for a Champions League title in style last season with a 5-0 battering of Inter Milan in the final.

Over the course of his career, he has enhanced and unlocked the potential of numerous players, including Ousmane Dembele and Vitinha.
Therefore, there is little doubt that he could succeed at Man United, with Enrique arguably being one of the top two managers in the world.
However, it remains to be seen if the Red Devils could convince him to switch Paris for Manchester in the summer.
Who else is linked with the Man United job?
With Football Insider exclusively revealing that Carrick is the overwhelming favourite for the Man United job on a permanent basis, it is no surprise that this is reflected in the bookies.
Currently, Carrick is 4/5 to remain as the manager at the Red Devils for the 2026-27 campaign.
Following this is both Julian Nagelsmann and Roberto De Zerbi at 8/1 odds.
Oliver Glasner is also still in the mix at 12/1, with the Crystal Palace manager set to leave his role at the end of the season when his contract expires.

Andoni Iraola is considered an outsider at 16/1, with the manager yet to solve his contract issues with AFC Bournemouth, which is set to expire at the end of the season.
However, it remains to be seen who Man United choose to appoint, as they look to finally end their terrible streak with managers post Sir Alex Ferguson.
