Rangers agree loan deal for player currently on his way to Euro club - report
Danilo is currently on his way to the Netherlands to sign for NEC Nijmegen from Rangers in the winter transfer window.
The Brazilian national has failed to cement his place in the Gers’ starting lineup despite Youssef Chermiti and Bojan Miovski’s struggles, and it isn’t surprising to see him leave midway through the season
Danilo has been transfer-listed at Ibrox, and it looks like the centre-forward has now finally found his next destination in the Eredivisie.
Danny Rohl is pushing to sign Hansa Rostock striker Ryan Naderi, and the former Feyenoord star’s exit will surely leave the door open for reinforcements in the number nine position.

Danilo will join NEC Nijmegen on loan from Rangers
NEC are on the verge of signing Danilo on loan from the Gers, according to Voetbal International.
The news outlet reports on 29 January that it’s unlikely that the temporary deal will include an option to buy the striker from Ibrox in the summer.
Pafos were willing to buy Danilo for £2million, and while the Light Blues would’ve preferred to do business with the Cypriot club, the 26-year-old wanted to return to the Netherlands.
The centre-forward still needs to undergo a medical to make his move to the Goffertstadion, but that may be hours away now.
It hasn’t really worked out for the Brazilian national at the Govan side despite being highly regarded, and in the current campaign, he’s made 14 appearances in the league, scoring three goals.
Danny Rohl hints at exciting end to winter window at Ibrox
Rohl may be getting a marquee signing at Ibrox before the 2 February deadline, having already signed Tuur Rommens, Tochi Chukwuani and Andreas Skov Olsen.

The German manager knows the coming hours will be nail-biting, and speaking recently, he said, “The next three or four days will be a little bit crazy. There will be some moments where you think you will have a yes, then maybe not. But all in all, by the end of the window, I think we should have a good number of players ready for the second half of the season”
Fans in G51 are expecting something big to happen between now and the end of the window, but it remains to be seen how things will unfold after Danilo’s possible departure.
