'Rangers are desperate' - Journalist names player Rohl wants gone this window
Rangers still need to offload several players before the transfer deadline on 2 February.
Oscar Cortes moved to Argentinian club Huracan on a loan deal worth £60,000, with the 22-year-old in search of more game time.
Lyall Cameron also joined Aberdeen on loan, while Findlay Curtis is on the verge of reuniting with Neil McCann at Kilmarnock.
Danny Rohl is on course to completely rebuild his squad as Rangers aim to win the Scottish Premiership title, and he has a whole host of players he needs to move on.
The likes of Kieran Dowell and Joe Rothwell are likely to leave G51, although Rohl has one player whose exit has now become a priority.

Rangers keen to move Danilo on before transfer deadline
Danilo was on the periphery of Russell Martin’s plans at the start of the season, although that briefly changed when Rohl was appointed.
Danilo scored in back-to-back games in October, but has now failed to start a match since mid-December.
Speaking on the Scottish Sun Sport’s Go Ballistic transfer show on 20 January, journalist Andy Devlin believes that the Brazilian has no future whatsoever at Rangers.
Stat Danilo Appearances 75 Goals 15 Assists 10
He said: “Danilo’s just sliding further and further down the pecking order. He was nowhere near the levels he needed to be against Annan.
“Rohl wants to trim his squad, so Danilo is certainly someone Rangers are looking to move on. He is a different kettle of fish; whether they can sell him abroad remains to be seen.
“It’s difficult to move him on, but Rangers are desperate.”
The 26-year-old has certainly had some memorable moments in Govan, but he has ultimately been a huge waste of funds.
How will Danilo be remembered by Rangers fans?
Danilo came to Ibrox with huge promise in July 2023, having notched 14 goals for Feyenoord the season before.
He joined for a fee of £6million and played just 21 times in his first season, and he has been constantly battling with injury issues for over two years.
Danilo scored in the 3-0 demolition of Celtic in January 2025, and that’s arguably the highlight of his spell in Glasgow.
Otherwise, he has been a disappointing player in the squad, with several managers losing faith in him to lead the line.
Rangers will certainly be lucky if they manage to get a fraction of the £6m they spent on him.
