Rangers player awaits further instructions on exit from Ibrox abroad - report
Rangers have already experienced a few transfer disappointments at the start of the transfer deadline on Monday.
The window in Scotland will close at 11pm on 2 February, with several incomings and outgoings potentially being worked on at the Gers.
Southampton’s Cameron Archer was a concrete target at Ibrox, but the Light Blues are now unlikely to sign the striker as the Saints haven’t been able to find a replacement for him.
Another forward Danny Rohl has wanted is Hansa Rostock’s Ryan Naderi, but the 22-year-old German will likely join the Glaswegian outfit at the end of the season.

Danilo exit stalls as Rangers search for new striker
Danilo is still awaiting instructions from the Gers as he remains in the Netherlands to complete his move to NEC Nijmegen, according to Voetbal International.
The news outlet reports on 2 February that the Eredivisie outfit and the Brazilian star have yet to receive approval from Ibrox to sanction his exit.
It’s been claimed that while the Dutch side have reached an agreement to sign the 26-year-old until the end of the season, his exit has been put on hold by the Light Blues.
Danilo has struggled to secure a place in Rohl’s plans, and it isn’t surprising to see him on the verge of leaving the Glaswegian outfit.

However, with a deal for Archer now possibly off at Ibrox, and that’s probably for the best, looking at his Sofascore stats from this season, it wouldn’t make sense to get rid of the Brazil national before a new number nine is signed.
Danny Rohl should look at William Hill Premiership for new striker
Motherwell striker Tawanda Maswanhise should be a target for Rangers, with the 23-year-old scoring 13 goals in 21 William Hill Premiership appearances this season.
The Zimbabwe international is proving himself in Scotland, which arguably makes him a much better option than any player the Gers could sign from south of the border.
As things stand, the Light Blues are third in the league table, and unless they sign a reliable goalscorer, they may not have what it takes to challenge Hearts or Celtic for the title.
Someone like Maswanhise could potentially be the missing piece of the puzzle for Rohl in G51, but there seems to be snobbery at the Glaswegian outfit about signing players who play in Scotland.
