'Sick of it' - Roy Keane listens on as Ian Wright predicts Arsenal vs Everton scoreline
Ian Wright predicted how Everton will fare against Arsenal this weekend, but Roy Keane wasn’t impressed as he listened on.
David Moyes’ side will look to boost their surprise bid for European football when they travel to the Premier League leaders on Saturday evening.
Having earned back-to-back top-flight victories against Newcastle United and Burnley, the Toffees are currently in eighth place, just one point behind Brentford in seventh.
But Mikel Arteta’s heavyweights will prove a daunting prospect at the Emirates, and Wright is confident that his former club will cruise to all three points.

What did Ian Wright predict for Arsenal vs Everton?
Wright joined Keane, Wayne Rooney, Gary Neville and Jill Scott for the latest episode of Stick to Football, and was feeling bullish while previewing the big match in North London.
“Scored my most goals against Everton,” he said. “Arsenal have always done well against Everton. I broke Everton hearts on a regular basis. We’re going to beat them, I think.”
Sat next to him, however, Keane told Wright to clamp down on an annoying habit, declaring: “I don’t want no text on Saturday afternoon when the scores are coming in. Sick of it.”
Wright then predicted a one-sided 3-0 Arsenal victory, before changing his guess to 2-0.
Rooney and Neville, meanwhile, opted for a tighter 1-0 Gunners win, taking into account Everton’s impressive form on the road this season.
That would repeat the scoreline from the reverse fixture at Hill Dickinson Stadium last December, with Viktor Gyokeres’ 27th-minute penalty the only goal of the game.
However, Beto could hold the key for Everton this time around, despite never scoring against the Gunners, and Moyes will certainly hope the frontman can step up.
Everton’s record vs Arsenal doesn’t make for great reading
Since that holiday period defeat on Merseyside, Moyes’ charges have been in impressive form, having suffered defeat just three times across all competitions.
But while they will hope to upset the apple cart in the capital, history is firmly against them.
Indeed, in the 67 times these two clubs have previously met in the Premier League, Everton have won on just 12 occasions while losing 39 matches.

The Gunners have scored 126 goals in those 67 fixtures, in comparison to the Merseysiders’ tally of 58, with Wright, as he trumpeted, the all-time top scorer in the fixture with eight goals.
Clearly, then, Everton will need to be at their best – and to ride their luck – to get a result.
