Tottenham fans react after what Mikey Moore does in Rangers vs Celtic – ‘Generational’
Mikey Moore showed Tottenham fans what they’ve been missing as Rangers drew 2-2 against Celtic in the William Hill Premiership on Sunday.
The 18-year-old, who joined the Gers on loan from Spurs last summer, started in the Old Firm derby at Ibrox on 1 March and put on a magnificent display in the first half.
Danny Rohl has heavily relied on the English youngster’s brilliance for creativity at the Light Blues, and his influence in Glasgow was evident in the opening 45 minutes as Youssef Chermiti scored a brace.
Celtic imposed their dominance after the break and kept Moore quiet, with Martin O’Neill’s team making a comeback, but the North London outfit’s supporters have a lot to look forward to from their loanee.
Mikey Moore leaves Tottenham fans questioning summer transfer decision
While Moore mesmerised fans at Ibrox, Tottenham supporters were left to contend with another loss against Fulham at Craven Cottage a few hours later.
One Spurs fan on X was glad to see the Englishman thriving for Rangers against Celtic, with his progress in Scotland a good sign for the North London outfit, who will surely have a serious player on their hands once he returns.
There was another Tottenham Hotspur Stadium faithful who quipped that the Lilywhites should have a look at “this guy called Mikey Moore”.
A supporter was left confused watching the teenager’s display in Govan and wondered how Spurs let him go and kept Mathys Tel.
The Lilywhites faithful also questioned why the North Londoners didn’t recall the forward from his loan spell in the winter transfer window, given the multiple injury issues in N17.
One fan was also happy to see Moore enjoying himself in Glasgow, turning into a little gem, while another branded him a “generational” talent.
Mikey Moore return surely on cards as Spurs exit likely after Craven Cottage display
Igor Tudor suffered his second straight defeat in charge of Spurs as Fulham won 2-1 at Craven Cottage.
Randal Kolo Muani put in another underwhelming display for Tottenham, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see him leave at the end of the season and be replaced by Moore in the squad.

There’s been talk of Rangers wanting to keep the English youngster at Ibrox, but the North London outfit should resist those attempts.
The winger still has a long way to go, but the initial signs look promising.
