Tottenham make Mikey Moore recall decision, Rangers loanee's stance detailed - Four Lads

Rangers are desperate to keep hold of Mikey Moore until the end of the season to aid their Scottish Premiership title charge.

Moore moved to Ibrox on loan from Tottenham in the summer, and after a slow start to life in Light Blue, he has picked up some form under Danny Rohl.

The 18-year-old grabbed the third goal in the Old Firm at the start of January, as Rangers beat Celtic 3-1 at Parkhead, cementing his place as a fan favourite.

However, some Gers supporters are worried that Moore could be recalled by Spurs this month, after his good form in the Scottish Premiership.

Mikey Moore to remain at Rangers

Moore has made 17 Scottish Premiership appearances for Rangers this season, scoring three goals and picking up one assist.

The 18-year-old has started six of the last seven games for the Gers, and is clearly one of Rohl’s most important players at the moment.

According to Four Lads Had A Dream, Moore will not be recalled by Spurs in the January window and will remain at Ibrox until the end of the season.

Tottenham clearly feel that the teenager will continue to develop in Glasgow and that it is more beneficial to leave him where he is rather than bring him back to North London.

Moore will hope that he can impress in the second half of the campaign and help fire the Gers to the Scottish Premiership title.

Rangers set for third January signing

With Rangers now sure that they will have Moore at their disposal for the remainder of the season, they can turn their attention to strengthening their squad.

Rohl’s side have had a busy January window so far, bringing in Tochi Chukwuani from Sturm Graz last Sunday, as well as adding Belgian defender Tuur Rommens to their ranks.

The business doesn’t stop there for the Gers though, who are now set to sign Andreas Skov Olsen from Wolfsburg.

The 26-year-old will undergo a medical with the Glasgow club before joining on loan until the end of the campaign.

Rohl will feel that his squad are now primed to challenge Hearts and Celtic for the title after the recent additions.
