View: 78% Everton dud has every right to fume as Moyes continues unfair treatment
Everton may have secured victory over Chelsea on Saturday afternoon, but Merlin Rohl is still bound to be frustrated.
The Toffees had Beto and Iliman Ndiaye to thank in the best night of football at the Hill Dickinson Stadium yet, a crushing 3-0 victory.
David Moyes got the best out of his players, and that translated into the stands as the atmosphere was deafening at times.
There were plenty of star performances on the night, but the Scot has recently proven that he doesn’t care how well his players perform.
Rohl knows that more than most on Merseyside, as his minutes were once again limited as Everton secured victory over Chelsea in the Premier League.

Merlin Rohl was superb for Everton vs Aston Villa
The Blues are now firmly in the hunt for European qualification this season, and a win over Liam Rosenior’s side certainly helps that.
Three points against Chelsea may prove to be massive and will be regarded as an important night if a finish in the top seven or eight is secured.
Stat Everton Chelsea Possession (%) 36 64 Expected goals 1.18 0.93 Shots on target 9 4 Big chances 2 2 Tackles 22 15
That was as good as it gets at home, but in terms of away wins, it doesn’t get much better than the 1-0 victory at Villa Park back in January.
Everton showed a real sign of intent that day, and ironically, Rohl was one of the best performers on the pitch that day.

He hit the post within the first minute while also creating two chances, contributing seven defensive contributions, winning three duels and maintaining a 78 per cent pass accuracy.
Many saw that day as a turning point, but he has since been a spectator in L4, resulting in questions surrounding Rohl’s future at Everton.
Rohl embarrassed by David Moyes vs Chelsea
That night at Villa Park should have been the day that the German became an asset for the Toffees.
He was excellent alongside James Garner and Harrison Armstrong, arguably looking the most accomplished of that trio.
Moyes clearly didn’t see it that way and has since limited Rohl to just five minutes of Premier League action.

That game time has come in two of the last nine Premier League fixtures, with the Freiburg loanee watching the entirety of seven from the bench.
He was afforded just one minute against Chelsea, even with the Toffees 3-0 up, summing up the lack of respect from Moyes.
Rohl will almost certainly see his future away from Hill Dickinson Stadium, and who can blame him?
