View: 8/10 sensational as 4/10 lets Moyes down - Everton player ratings vs Liverpool
Everton were left heartbroken after a late 2-1 loss against Liverpool on Sunday.
It was a thrilling contest, with several controversial decisions, with a penalty shout for Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and a disallowed goal for Iliman Ndiaye.
Mohamed Salah scored the opener, but Beto levelled proceedings in the second half, but Reds captain Virgil van Dijk had the final say in the 10th minute of stoppage time.
It means that David Moyes‘ side are now seven points behind their arch rivals, with five matches left to play until the end of the season.
Everton were unlucky to come away with nothing, but they should still believe in the push for Europe.

He let Moyes down with his showing against the Reds, as he took just 34 touches, with one chance created for his teammates.
He attempted three shots, with none of them on target and made an error that led to the opener for Arne Slot’s side.
The former Burnley man made four passes into the final third, but only had two touches in the opposition box.
