View: Beto now looks like he could be finished at Everton as multi-million bid accepted for upgrade

Beto’s Everton career has been nothing short of a failure.

Since arriving from Udinese in 2023, the striker has failed to meet expectations, and it looks as though David Moyes has had enough.

Beto has missed glaring chances this season, and as a result, the Toffees have suffered points in games where they should have really won.

The 27-year-old has been tipped for a Merseyside exit in the past, and with the latest on Youssef En-Neysri, Everton may sell Beto in no time.

Beto done for after Everton’s accepted Youssef En-Neysri offer

Everton have seen a loan offer accepted from Fenerbahce for En Neysri, in a deal that will see the striker stay with the Toffees until the end of the season.

The proposed move includes a £3.9million loan fee, but at this stage, it’s unclear whether the Moroccan wants to join.

If he does want to come work under Moyes, then Beto is as good as gone, with statistics proving just how damaging he’s been for the Blues this campaign.

• His xG is 4.68
• Beto also has a poor dribble completion rate of 0.33 per game

Everton forked out a hefty amount for Beto, and it will be hard for the Friedkin Group to find suitors that will pay anywhere near the £25.75million that was once paid for the forward.

As much as the striker was a failed transfer, Moyes may soon have a capable goalscorer in En-Neysri.

En-Neysri’s Premier League task

As highlighted by Sofascore, En-Neysri has scored eight league goals this season, more than Beto and Thierno Barry have in all competitions this campaign.
