View: Everton star looks likely for London return this summer after Grealish update
Everton are looking increasingly likely to avoid triggering Tyrique George’s permanent stay at Hill Dickinson, following positive news regarding their chase for Jack Grealish.
David Moyes welcomed George to the Toffees back in the winter window, with the winger joining the club on loan from Chelsea until the end of the season.
The loanee had a buy option put into his contract with the Toffees, but at that stage, there was still doubt over a Grealish return this summer.
The wingers both play in each other’s position, but there would be no doubt as to who Moyes would play if he had the luxury to do so right now.
Following updates that suggest Everton are growing closer to signing Grealish permanently, with a deal said to be in the region of £20million, George looks likely to return to Chelsea.

Multiple reasons why Everton will opt against Tyrique George buy option
It’s now believed that Everton have further confidence to sign Grealish on a permanent deal, though his current £50m buy option will almost certainly not be triggered.
The only real stumbling block right now appears to be his wages, as the Friedkin Group will have limits they won’t want to exceed for one player.

George is a product of Chelsea’s youth academy, and it was a surprise to see the London-based club tempt his sale to Everton, despite a breakthrough last campaign.
But so far in Merseyside Blue, the 20-year-old hasn’t done much when given an opportunity.
Not only that, his suggested buy option is said to be fairly significant, though full details of the fee have yet to be revealed.

The Toffees have been without Grealish for months now, and even then, George hasn’t cemented his place under Moyes, despite his versatile qualities.
Everton already have a cheap George replacement, if needed
The signs are looking like Grealish will become a Toffee once more this summer, but there are still obstacles in the way.
Manchester City want to sell him, and if the 30-year-old really wants a return, the door has always been open for him.
Now, George’s inevitable departure would see another squad space open up, and if anything, it’ll only give Moyes a perspective of how one injury can make things go wrong.
Everton have Braiden Graham lying in Finch Farm, waiting for an opportunity, with a loan move to a National League side now looking unlikely.
He is the perfect understudy for Grealish, and would be a free option for Moyes to use, instead of asking TFG to splash unnecessary cash on George.
