Jack Grealish remains keen on a move to Everton this summer, though it could come at a hefty financial cost.

Everton remain on course for European football of some kind ahead of the final four games of the season, and they have Iliman Ndiaye to thank for a large part of that success.

The Senegal international has been at the forefront of their attacking efforts this season, having previously shared the responsibility with Grealish.

However, the on-loan City star’s season-ending injury changed that, though the Toffees remain intent on bringing him back to Hill Dickinson this summer.

But if Grealish were to return to Everton, the Merseysiders must be prepared to see other costs increase as a result of it.

Jack Grealish transfer could unsettle Everton stars

Not entirely, but certainly to some extent.

While this is pure speculation, Grealish would demand a signficant wage to make a permanent move to Everton, and while warranted, it would raise questions.

Ndiaye and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall are two of the other stars who have shone this season, and should Grealish arrive and immediately become their highest earner, then there is every chance that they would demand new deals, and rightfully so.

Between the two of them, they have had a hand in 21 Premier League goals for Everton this season, which is over half of their total tally.

How much does Grealish earn?

While official figures are very rarely released, it has been heavily speculated that Grealish’s Man City contract is worth in the region of £300,000 per week.

It was said that Everton would cover the majority of that upon his loan arrival.

A move away from the Etihad would almost certainly see that number decrease, but he would still likely remain the Toffees’ highest earner if he were to make the move.
