View: Everton's summer transfer target ranks fifth for key metric that Moyes will love
Marco Senesi has been linked with a move to Everton, and his passing ability will intrigue David Moyes.
Everton look set for another big recruitment push in the summer transfer window, regardless of what happens between now and the end of the season.
The signing of a new striker remains their most likely priority given the struggles of Beto and Thierno Barry, though the Toffees will look to strengthen elsewhere.
Senesi has been linked with Everton heavily over the last few months, and his stats from the season demonstrate why he would be a remarkable signing for the Merseysiders.

Marco Senesi’s progressive passing ability could be key for Everton
Senesi is a top-level Premier League defender, and he has showcased his ability to stay consistent at that level throughout his time at Bournemouth.
But with his contract due to expire at the end of the campaign, a move beckons, and the Toffees are one of those to have expressed an interest.
And while his defensive stats are impressive, it’s his ball-playing ability that is likely to get him a top move this summer, with Senesi ranking fifth in the top seven leagues in Europe for most forward passes completed.
He has completed 653 for the Cherries this season, which is only two fewer than Jan Paul van Hecke, who has earned his plaudits at Brighton.
What else does Senesi thrive at that will excite Everton?
While Senesi’s ability on the ball has been crucial for Bournemouth, his strong defensive tendencies have also played a big part.
The Argentine has won 50 tackles and completed 47 interceptions this season, the latter of which is the best record for any defender in the Premier League.
He also ranks at the very top of the number of recoveries made in the top flight, having recorded 119 in the 29 appearances he has made.
Senesi would improve Everton’s defence tenfold, but they won’t be alone in their interest.
