View: Iliman Ndiaye's 2024-25 Everton season compared to 2025-26 stats
Iliman Ndiaye is having another brilliant season with Everton, but his underlying numbers from 2024-25 remain largely better.
The 26-year-old has been the Toffees’ talisman ever since his summer 2024 arrival from Marseille, in what is one of the shrewdest pieces of transfer business Everton have done in recent years.
Operating predominantly as a left-winger, but also seeing time on the right and occasionally through the middle too, the Senegalese international is the key attacking node in David Moyes‘ team.
With six goals and three assists in 27 total appearances so far this season, it’s no surprise to see much talk of a potential summer transfer exit for Ndiaye, with numerous top clubs said to be circling.
However, his focus will be solely on helping Everton qualify for European football in their remaining Premier League games, so long as his foot injury isn’t a serious one, that is.

Iliman Ndiaye’s 2024-25 stats compared to his 2025-26 numbers
Ndiaye is among the Premier League’s top wingers, of that there is little doubt.
Now 26 and in the prime of his career, Everton may well require continental football next season in order to convince him that Hill Dickinson Stadium is the best place for him though.

As such, Everton fans will simply be enjoying him whilst he’s still turning out on Merseyside, but how do his Premier League numbers from this season stack up against what he put up last term?
Well, as per Sofascore, despite averaging 12 fewer minutes on the pitch last season compared to the current campaign, Ndiaye registered 0.3 goals per game compared to his 0.2 average this term.
He also had more than double the success rate on long balls, with a 68.2 per cent accuracy in 2024-25, whilst only being accurate 31.6 per cent of the time in 2025-26.

Ndiaye had a better crossing accuracy last season (26.3 per cent vs 16.3 per cent), won more ground duels (52.1 per cent vs 49 per cent) and gave possession away less (9.2 per game vs 13.4) respectively.
There are a few areas where Ndiaye is posting better numbers this season than last though, as he’s improved on his dribble success rate of 51.5 per cent to 52.9 per cent.
He’s also created six big chances compared to three last year, has massively increased his expected assists from 1.35 to 4.18, and wins 2.3 tackles per game this season as opposed to just 1.6 last term respectively.
Everton shouldn’t cash in on Ndiaye if he’s happy to stay
Much of what will happen with Ndiaye’s future will not only largely depend on whether Everton get European football or not, but also how the player himself feels about his situation.
If he’s settled and happy at Hill Dickinson Stadium and can see the vision and ambition from the football club, then the Toffees shouldn’t take the payday.
Indeed, with interest sure to arrive for both Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and James Garner, as well as potential interest in Jarrad Branthwaite too, the Toffees don’t have to rely on an Ndiaye sale to raise funds.
Players like Ndiaye are who Everton should be constructing their future around, and if he’s happy being a cornerstone piece of the Toffees team of the future, then Hill Dickinson chiefs should politely put the phone down on any transfer calls for him this summer.
