Randal Kolo Muani could prove to be the difference for Tottenham Hotspur in the final weeks of the season.

The France international started last time out against Wolves but was ultimately removed at halftime at Molineux in the 1-0 victory.

There were fears that the Paris Saint-Germain loanee could have been ruled out through injury after coming off away in the Black Country on Saturday.

The Lilywhites went on to seal victory over the Old Gold as they picked up a much-needed three points in the Premier League relegation battle.

Another away day in the Midlands lies in wait against Aston Villa, with Roberto De Zerbi now learning the fitness of Kolo Muani at Tottenham.

Randal Kolo Muani fitness confirmed at Tottenham

It has been far from an ideal season for the 27-year-old since his temporary switch from PSG in the summer.

He has scored just one Premier League goal and was even unable to make a positive impact against bottom-side Wolves last time out.

That wasn’t helped by an injury concern that saw him last just 45 minutes before coming off during the halftime interval at Molineux, with online rumours spreading quickly.

The Frenchman had still managed 35 touches while completing 15 passes and taking one shot on goal in the Midlands.

He also chipped in with five defensive actions, and he won six duels, so having him available will be a boost in North London.

It has now been confirmed that the forward hasn’t suffered a hamstring injury, contrary to initial reports from the Wolves win.

Some may think De Zerbi is wasting his time with Kolo Muani, but he could prove to make all the difference in N17.

Kolo Muani can save De Zerbi from Tottenham failure

It may not look like it now, but the 32-time France international may prove to be the man to keep Spurs in the Premier League.

With Dominic Solanke going off injured against Wolves, the Lilywhites have no other option but to put their faith in Kolo Muani moving forward.

He certainly does know where the net is, having scored 10 for Juventus and 26 in 50 matches in a year with Eintracht Frankfurt.

Although he has struggled for the North London club, he is surely a better option than Richarlison or no number nine for De Zerbi.

The Italian needs to keep his side in the Premier League, and it may be goals from the PSG loanee that seal his side’s safety.
