View: Rangers ace faces crossroads at Ibrox after failing to win over Rohl
Bojan Miovski’s Rangers career hasn’t taken off under Danny Rohl and he now faces an uncertain future heading into the summer transfer window.
Having moved from Spanish side Girona for a fee that could rise to £4.2million, there was huge optimism that he could replicate his goalscoring exploits at Aberdeen between 2022 and 2024.
After a slow start to life in Govan, Miovski scored three goals in November to give fans some hope that he can become a success.
However, Danny Rohl has generally placed little faith in the 26-year-old, and Youssef Chermiti’s exploits in big games have left the North Macedonian on the bench throughout the season.
And Miovski’s lack of game time at Rangers will only continue as the Bears aim to end the campaign by winning silverware.

Bojan Miovski could leave Rangers due to recent lack of game time
Miovski is over six foot tall, and for a striker of his stature he has failed to unsettle many defenders in the top flight.
The North Macedonia international has clearly regressed over the last two seasons, and it’s unlikely that he’ll regain his confidence in front of goal with Rohl in charge.
Miovski hasn’t started any of Rangers’ last seven matches, playing just 62 minutes of football in that period.
Season Team Appearances Goals Assists 2022-23 Aberdeen 42 18 3 2023-24 Aberdeen 53 26 4 2024-25 Girona 23 4 1 2025-26 Rangers 36 10 1
Although Miovski has scored 10 times in all competitions, four of those have come against lower-league opposition in the Scottish Cup.
His lack of movement off the ball has become a real issue for Rohl, and it’s not a shock that he spent big on Ryan Naderi in the winter transfer window.
Miovski is third in the pecking order, and with seven games left of the season, it seems as though he may not feature much before the summer comes around.

The 26-year-old may have to think about what’s best for his career at Ibrox, and it feels as though Rangers might not be the best place for him.
Rangers still lack a consistent goalscorer in their squad
Chermiti has been brilliant at times for Rangers, but it’s his inconsistency in front of goal, which is infuriating.
Naderi was brought in to add goals to the side, but he is still searching for his first in the Scottish Premiership, which is starting to become worrying.
James Tavernier and Emmanuel Fernandez have scored 13 league goals combined, with the Bears thriving from set-pieces.

But this shows how they haven’t fared too well from open play, and Miovski has been one of those who has struggled the most.
At 26 years of age, he still has a lot of options open to him, and with every game that passes where he doesn’t feature, his chances of staying at Rangers beyond the summer become increasingly slim.
