View: Rangers surely fuming as Celtic handed unique advantage with post-split fixtures confirmed

Rangers, Celtic and Hearts have now had their post-split Scottish Premiership fixtures revealed.

The title race is destined to go down to the wire, with three points between the top three, and one match left before the table divides into the top six and the bottom six.

Danny Rohl‘s side are one point behind Derek McInnes’ side after a remarkable comeback from the 13-point gap that existed when he took over.

However, the Hoops have a unique advantage, they never play after the Gers, so they will never be under pressure to match their arch-rivals’ result.

Rangers need to keep the faith, despite the benefit that Martin O’Neill’s side have been handed after the fixtures were decided.

What are Celtic and Rangers’ post-split fixtures?

Rangers will see at least one of their rivals drop points on the final day as they face each other at Parkhead.

However, they will surely be fuming about how the rest of the fixtures have piled up, with the Bhoys having a favourable run.

When the league returns for the split, Celtic face Falkirk on 25 April, with the Light Blues in action against Motherwell the following day.

The Gers travel to face the league leaders on 4 May, with the Hoops visiting Hibernian the day before, and then it is the Old Firm clash on 10 May.

The sides then play at the same time on 13 May, the Bears against Hibernian, and their rivals travel to Motherwell.

They also play at the same time on the final day on 16 May, with the huge contest with the Jambos for O’Neill side, and Falkirk for Rohl and his team.

How should Rangers react?

Rangers can’t concern themselves with the order of the matches, however unfair they may perceive it to be.

They just need to focus on winning when they play and not worry about what happens in the other games, as they can’t control that.

They can only do their own thing, and not drop any points and give their opposition for the title any encouragement, more than the advantage that they already have.

If they had Rohl in front the start of the season, they would likely be in pole position already, but with the right mentality, they can come out on top.
