View: Solanke immense, 3/10 surely packing bags for exit - Tottenham player ratings vs Man City
Tottenham came back to secure a 2-2 draw with Manchester City on Sunday.
Spurs are facing Daniel Levy uncertainty right now, and that showed in the opening 45 minutes against Pep Guardiola’s side.
It looked as if Thomas Frank was destined for the sack at Tottenham after Rayan Cherki and Antoine Semenyo gave City a 2-0 lead going in at the break.
Boos at half-time vanished in the second 45 as a Dominic Solanke brace, including a stunning scorpion kick, brought the Lilywhites level.
It was an improved performance in N17 after a dismal first half, and now Tottenham News rates every player’s performance out of 10.
Dominic Solanke earns Tottenham a point
There were many star performers in the second half against City, but without Solanke, where would Spurs be?
The likes of Xavi Simons and Conor Gallagher looked good and made chances, but there isn’t anyone else in this Spurs squad you would back to take chances like the striker.
The 28-year-old scored with both of his shots on target and also created one chance for his teammates against a strong backline.
He also completed two dribbles and looked to make things happen, while also showcasing his defensive work rate in N17.
Solanke chipped in with four defensive actions and also won five duels, which only improves the overlook of his performance.
Randal Kolo Muani destined for exit after Manchester City shocker
Randal Kolo Muani has been linked with a Tottenham exit this winter as his loan switch from PSG simply hasn’t worked for anyone.
Just three goals in 24 outings isn’t good enough, and that ratio only got worse as he started in his 25 N17 clash and did precious little.

The Frenchman was only afforded 68 minutes of action and, in that time, was unable to get a shot off and completed just six passes.
That lack of involvement is further highlighted by his 22 touches and the fact that he lost 10 duels on the way while committing four fouls.
If a departure wasn’t firmly on the table for Kolo Muani before the City clash, it really should be now, as he was shocking once again.
