View: Tottenham nerves to skyrocket as supercomputer predicts Wolves showdown
Wolves welcome Tottenham Hotspur to Molineux on Saturday, with Roberto De Zerbi’s visitors looking to get their survival charge up and running.
The Lilywhites are still in search of their first domestic win in 2026, after failing to win either of the Italian’s first two matches in charge.
Spurs did come close to doing so on Saturday, before a late dagger from Georginio Rutter secured a point for European chasers Brighton in a 2-2 draw.
Saturday’s opponents were finally put out of their misery on Monday, with West Ham’s goalless draw with Crystal Palace officially confirming Wolves’ relegation to the Championship.
Though the Old Gold will still present a tough test for Tottenham, who are in desperate need of a win as they look to pick up some momentum heading into the final five games.

Tottenham set to edge out Wolves in big Premier League clash
It has been a dismal year at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with De Zerbi arriving at the club over the international break with one task: to keep Spurs in the Premier League.
Across his opening two matches at the helm, he would watch his side fall to a 1-0 defeat against Sunderland, before playing out a 2-2 draw with Brighton, though this run could be set to change.
Likelihood Wolves win 35% Draw 25.9% Tottenham win 39.1%
Heading into Saturday’s bout at Molineux, De Zerbi’s side have been handed the tag of slight favourites as they look to finally end the winless run.
Though the calculations from Opta’s supercomputer have predicted a closer bout than many would expect, with Tottenham given a 39.1 per cent chance of taking all three points, scoring just over four points higher than Rob Edwards’ side.
However, the simple fact of the matter is that Saturday’s test is one that the Lilywhites must navigate if they have serious survival ambitions.
Tottenham must make use of favourable fixture
Spurs were handed a lifeline on Monday, with West Ham missing the chance to extend the gap to five points.
As a result, De Zerbi’s side sits two points behind their London rivals, with a rather favourable fixture against the basement dwellers coming up.
Tottenham are winless at Molineux since 2021, though this cannot be used as an excuse when it is considered that the Old Gold have spent every weekend of the campaign in the bottom three.

The pressure will be off Wolves, given the confirmation of their relegation, and their recent home form has seen them earn results against Aston Villa and Liverpool.
But, Spurs must make use of the opportunity presented to them.
With West Ham facing Everton, the chance is there for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side to drop yet more points against the European chasers, and it has to be said that you would much rather be in De Zerbi’s shoes going into the weekend.
Simply put, if Tottenham lose, they may be waving goodbye to the Premier League.
