Alan Myers shares why Grealish to Everton deal could be more likely amid Finch Farm scenes
A permanent Everton switch for Jack Grealish is beginning to look more and more promising.
The Manchester City loanee was sidelined in January and is set to miss the rest of the 2025-26 season.
However, his attitude has been praised throughout his time at Hill Dickinson Stadium, with Grealish fully buying into the ongoing project.
Journalist Myers has since discussed why he believes that a permanent Everton move for Grealish is likely ahead of the summer.

Alan Myers shares thoughts on Jack Grealish Everton move
Grealish made the switch to Everton on loan last summer, after an under par period with Manchester City.
Since then, he has chipped in with two goals and six assists in the Premier League, before he was ruled out for the rest of the season in January.
Grealish posted an image on social media on Monday showing him continuing his rehab and vowing to come back stronger, with a blue love heart emoji.
Former Sky Sports reporter Myers told Everton News: “When Jack arrived at Everton he not only gave everyone a lift by adding real quality to the squad, but I believe his personality, character and winning mentality is something David Moyes needs in his dressing room.”
The reported £50million buy option could be deemed steep moving forward into the summer, but the hope is that the clubs will be able to come to a more suitable agreement.
“Speaking to people at the club it appears his influence is still being felt around the place,” added Myers.
“The fact Grealish has stayed around the club since the injury suggests to me that every effort will be made to find the right deal to allow the 30-year-old Manchester City man to continue his Everton relationship.
“Of course it can’t be for the reported £50m asking price, but if the two clubs can find a compromise I think it would be in the best interest of all concerned.”
Grealish could make a huge difference in further Everton development
For the first time since Carlo Ancelotti’s departure in 2021, Everton have undergone a full season far away from any relegation troubles.
Sitting eighth in the Premier League, the Toffees are well placed to go on and achieve European qualification for the first time since 2017.

An important character in the dressing room, and someone experienced at the highest level, Grealish could make a huge difference as the club aim to continue climbing up the standings in the coming years.
Everton have begun a new era at their fantastic new stadium, so keeping hold of players such as Grealish is a huge statement when it comes to their summer recruitment, while investment from the Friedkin Group will likely enter a new stratosphere should Moyes’ side qualify for Europe.
