What we know about Grealish’s Man City contract as question remains over Everton transfer
Jack Grealish has been continuously linked with an Everton return after his initial loan spell from Manchester City.
The Englishman joined the Toffees on a temporary deal in the summer and went on to be a hugely important figure.
David Moyes has been very public about his appreciation for the 30-year-old until he picked up a devastating injury.
The attacking midfielder is out until the end of the season after having surgery on his foot, but that may not stop the Blues from making a permanent deal happen.
Everton are clearly interested in signing Grealish, and now Goodison News has rounded up everything we know about his current deal at Manchester City.

What is Jack Grealish’s contract situation at Manchester City?
The attacker signed for Man City back in 2021 in a record deal from Aston Villa after previously spending his senior career at Villa Park.
He had only ever played for the Villans or Notts County since 2012, so a £100million move certainly represented massive news.
Things worked out in his first season as he won the treble and looked to have made good on that fee and his sizable contract.
Grealish penned a six-year deal at the Etihad Stadium and has earned a reported £300,000 per week ever since.
That represents an eye-watering figure in the region of £3.6m for the year and over £21m across the course of his contract, if he sees it out.
His current deal lasts until the summer of 2027, so he has just over a year remaining until he would be considered a free agent.
That could now open the door for Everton to complete a permanent deal to sign Grealish.
How Everton can sign Grealish permanently
There’s no hiding the fact that the Toffees want the loanee permanently this summer.
After such a stellar loan period, the Englishman would certainly help maintain the high standards that Moyes has set this campaign.
The question is how Everton can make that possible with his sizable wages, having already paid him a reported £225,000 per week while on loan.
That would likely have to take a major drop off, especially if a transfer fee is involved in his move to the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
If the Friedkins want to put their money where their mouths are on Merseyside, there’s every chance a deal could be on the cards this summer.
