Bayer Leverkusen to reimburse fans after Hamburg fixture postponement
Leverkusen’s Bundesliga fixture against Hamburg - scheduled for Tuesday, 13 January - was called off due to weather-related structural risks to the Volksparkstadion's roof following heavy snow in the area.
As a gesture of goodwill, Die Werkself will refund fans that purchased their tickets via the official ticket shop, while tickets will also remain valid for the rescheduled fixture, which is yet to be determined.
Fans unable to attend the rescheduled fixture have been asked to return their tickets in order to give other supporters a chance to purchase them.
