Bayern Munich give positive signals on Harry Kane injury ahead of Real Madrid clash in UEFA Champions League quarter-finals
Kane pulled out of England's squad for a friendly with Japan after picking up an ankle issue in preparation for the encounter.
Prior to the match, England head coach Thomas Tuchel said: "It's a minor injury that came practically out of nowhere."
The problem also kept him out of Bayern's incredible 3-2 comeback win in Freiburg on Saturday. The club's board member for sport Max Eberl indicated after the match that he could return for the big first leg in Madrid, saying: "The physios are working on him. He's constantly receiving treatment. We believe he will be fine."
