Birmingham City fans all say the same thing about Chris Davies being sacked
Birmingham City fans have called for Chris Davies to be sacked after their 3-1 defeat to Middlesbrough.
The Blues’ playoff hopes suffered another massive blow on Monday after they were undone by Boro to remain eight points behind sixth place.
Many had expected Birmingham to be at least in the top six this season. However, their recent defeats to Millwall and Middlesbrough have shown how far off they are, with the West Midlands side struggling to compete.
Now, many of the St Andrews faithful have seen enough, with calls for Davies to be removed from the dugout returning in full force.
Birmingham City fans want Chris Davies sacked
Davies had long been linked with the sack in late 2025 after a poor run of form at Birmingham.
However, the Blues were quick to bounce back at the turn of the year and went on a 10-match unbeaten run in all competitions until they were beaten 3-0 by Millwall last week.
While many fans would have hoped that this defeat would be an anomaly, it quickly became clear against Middlesbrough that it wasn’t.
In the first half, the Blues were dreadful and deservedly behind. In the second period, they weren’t much better as their promotion hopes now seem more distant than ever.
As a result, many Birmingham fans are calling for Davies to be sacked via X, with the Blues currently nowhere near the playoff spots.

Do Birmingham City still have a chance of reaching the Championship playoffs?
Unfortunately for Birmingham City fans, their Championship playoff hopes now appear to be over.
In 11 matches, the Blues will have to reduce a gap of eight points and overtake six sides.
Opta on 2 March does not believe this is possible, and has predicted Birmingham to finish 11th with 64.64 points.
Their chances of reaching the playoffs are deemed to be 3.76 per cent, with their back-to-back defeats proving to be damning.
It remains to be seen if Davies can survive this going forward, with there being a clear ambition to return to the Premier League as soon as possible.
However, it now appears that no matter what happens with the manager, the Blues will have to wait at least until next season to potentially return to the Championship playoffs.
