Daniel Farke left fuming ahead of Tottenham vs Leeds as Premier League announcement made
Daniel Farke will be displeased to see Jarred Gillett set to take charge of Leeds United’s trip to Tottenham Hotspur on Monday night.
The Whites can confirm their Premier League safety with a win in North London, but they face a resurgent side under Roberto De Zerbi.
The Lilywhites have beaten Wolves and Aston Villa in the last couple of weeks amid their own battle to avoid the drop.
West Ham now find themselves in serious danger of relegation, with the visit of Premier League leaders Arsenal up next for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side.
Leeds have been in good form of late and beat Burnley 3-1 last week to bounce back from a disappointing FA Cup semi-final defeat to Chelsea.

Daniel Farke was left furious with Jarred Gillett after November decision
Former Manchester United chief scout Mick Brown exclusively told Football Insider last month that Farke will stay in charge at Leeds after a superb season.
After a disappointing start to the season that saw the Whites win just three of their first 13 Premier League games, the German has overseen a resounding change in his team.

Since those opening 13 games, of which they lost eight, Leeds have lost just four of the following 22.
The Whites have become a seriously robust outfit, and especially dangerous when at Elland Road. They won’t be there on Monday, however, and they will have another factor to contend with.
When Leeds lost to Nottingham Forest in November, Farke was under mounting pressure at Elland Road and badly in need of wins.
It was not to be for the visitors at the City Ground, and the German took issue with one decision made by Gillett.
The Australian had awarded a free-kick after adjudging Anton Stach to have fouled his man, with Gibbs-White subsequently scoring from the play that followed.
“This was the first big mistake of the referee, because I think he was the only one in the whole stadium who saw a foul by Anton Stach,” Farke said. “It was 100% a foul against him [Stach].
“They put the ball long. From the second ball, the cross comes in and the goal comes five seconds later. We would have definitely preferred to play [by] the rules today, but we are also self-critical.”
Farke on route to proving top-flight credentials
When Leeds were promoted to the Premier League last season, some fans genuinely tussled with the idea of sacking Farke.
The German had a shocking top-flight record, and it was felt that they would have a better chance of survival if decision-makers went in a different direction.
But should the 49-year-old confirm Premier League safety in the coming days, he will have put all of those arguments to bed.
Farke is here to stay at Elland Road, and will hope to push him team on further next season.
