EFL manager speaks out as Everton youngster rejoins club on loan after Finch Farm recall
Everton‘s Will Tamen has rejoined Tranmere Rovers on loan for the rest of the campaign.
The 19-year-old had initially joined the Prenton Park outfit in January, but was recalled to Finch Farm after four matches as a result of injury.
Rovers boss Pete Wild shared an update on Tamen’s return on 16 March, revealing that he is back with the League Two outfit.
Speaking via the club’s official media, he said: “Will Tamen is back in the building today, which is fantastic, a bright young prospect, hopefully he’ll be released to train with us by the end of the week.”
That should be encouraging for Everton and Tamen as it will benefit all parties.

How was Tamen performing away from Everton?
Everton gem Tamen had featured just four times for the Birkenhead-based club, and they had lost all of those matches.
However, he had performed admirably despite results going against his side, recording an average Sofascore rating of 6.73.
Tamen recorded a 69 per cent pass accuracy, but was much more comfortable in his own half, completing 80 per cent of his attempts in that area.

The Finch Farm star averaged 1.5 interceptions, 1.5 blocked shots, one tackle, 3.5 recoveries and a stunning 7.8 clearances per game.
In terms of duels, he was immense, winning 78 per cent of the ground and 73 per cent that he contested in the air.
Why Tamen will only benefit from new Tranmere loan
Tamen should only benefit from rejoining Tranmere on loan, as he was shining before the injury struck, and he returned to the Blues.
His return should help him grow in confidence and ability, which should help him when he tries to break into the senior side.
The youngster is yet to make his debut for David Moyes’ side, but he did feature in the pre-season friendly against Accrington Stanley.
If he is to get himself on Moyes’ radar again, he will need to perform with the fourth-tier side, and make an impression.
It is better for him to be playing at that level, rather than in the academy game, as it will serve his development much more, dealing with the trials and tribulations of professional football.
Hopefully, he can return to the Toffees after a solid end to the campaign under his belt, then earn a spot in the squad for the new season.
