Euro club launch £2m bid for Rangers star, permanent Ibrox exit wanted - report

Rangers have received a £2million bid for Danilo.

Danilo has suffered from inconsistency and injuries at Rangers, never fully finding the form that made the Gers splash £6m on his services.

He has notched 16 goals in 76 appearances for the Ibrox side, which is not good enough for a side that wants to challenge for titles.

Whether Danny Rohl‘s side accepts the offer remains to be seen, but it appears that the end may be in sight for the frontman.

Who has made £2m offer for Rangers ace Danilo?

Cypriot club Pafos have made a bid for Danilo, according to The Scottish Sun on 26 January.

The report claims that an exit looks likely for the 26-year-old, who could be on his way out of Govan this month.

It states that the Champions League club want to wrap up a deal quickly and add the Light Blues man to their squad on a permanent basis.

Rangers already have Danilo replacement lined up

The Gers are moving quickly to sign a new striker, as they are in talks to sign Ryan Naderi from German side Hansa Rostock.

The 22-year-old is understood to be desperate to join the Rohl revolution at Auchenhowie, after a £2.6m offer was tabled.

Surely, the addition of Naderi would spell the end for Danilo, with Bojan Miovski and Youssef Chermiti above him in the pecking order already.

He has notched eight goals in 17 appearances in the German third tier, so he would be an upgrade on any of the current options that Rohl has at his disposal if he can replicate that form in Scotland.

The fact that the Gers already have a replacement lined up is a testament to the 49ers Enterprises group and Andrew Cavenagh, as they have been on the ball this month and put the club right into title contention.

On the face of it, replacing the misfiring former Feyenoord man with Naderi seems like a great move, but only time will tell whether it will pay off and seal the Scottish Premiership title for the Govan outfit.

If he can find his feet straight away at Ibrox, he may make an immediate impact, which Danilo never could after he moved to G51.
