Everton set to sign 20-year-old forward, advanced negotiations underway - report
Everton could make Al-Nassr attacker Wesley their first signing of the winter transfer window.
David Moyes‘ side have been desperate to add attacking talent to their ranks this month, and that urgency has only increased following Jack Grealish’s injury.
So far, the Blues have not sanctioned any incomings at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, but that could set to change in the coming days.
Everton have been linked with the likes of Youssef En-Nesyri, Callum Wilson and Jorgen Strand Larsen, but the Brazilian could be the man to take on the burden.

Everton expected to sign Wesley this month
Moyes has subtly called on Everton’s owners to make transfers happen, and it appears he is set to get his wish.
A report from ESPN Brazil on 27 January claims that the Blues are in advanced negotiations with the forward over a move to Merseyside.
It states that the Toffees are in pole position, and he is expected to join them in this window.

Who is Everton target Wesley?
The young forward who is actually called Wesley Gassova Ribeiro Teixeira started out in Corinthians academy, joining the club’s Under-11s in 2016.
He signed a three-year professional contract with the Brazilian outfit in April 2022, and made his first-team debut in the same month, just eight days later.
In his time in Sao Paulo, the promising forward notched seven goals, five assists in 84 appearances, which saw him being linked with Liverpool, West Ham and Chelsea.
In August 2024, he moved to the Saudi Arabian outfit for a fee between £15-17million, and has featured 40 times for the club since leaving his homeland for unfamiliar surroundings.
Wesley factfile
- Name: Wesley Gassova Ribeiro Teixeira
- Date of Birth: 5 March 2005
- Birthplace: Sao Paulo, Brazil
- Clubs: Corinthians, Al-Nassr
- National team: Brazil Under-20 (one cap)
He has notched five goals and five assists in that time, which is a solid return, and given his young age, he could get better, and he is likely to adapt to English football quicker because he has shown he can leave Brazil and still thrive already.
Wesley is capable of giving defenders nightmares with his flair on the ball, his pace and dribbling skills, and the Under-20 international may prove to be a brilliant addition for Moyes’ side, if the deal is as far along as has been reported.
