Everton star man wanted by Manchester United, ‘mammoth fee’ mooted - report
Everton may face a battle to keep Iliman Ndiaye in the summer, with Manchester United entering the race for his signature.
Ndiaye’s Everton future was a hot topic in the summer, and the Blues reportedly rejected bids of £40million from the likes of Tottenham and Inter Milan.
The attacker has been in red-hot form for David Moyes‘ side this season, notching four goals and two assists in 17 Premier League matches.
That is expected to lead to further interest in the summer transfer window, with the Red Devils eyeing the Senegal ace.

What is the ‘mammoth’ Iliman Ndiaye update?
Everton fans will not want to lose Ndiaye, as he is a key player on Merseyside, even more so with Jack Grealish’s injury.
A report from TEAMtalk on 27 January claims that Old Trafford side are expected to place Ndiaye on their shortlist for next summer.
It states that the Blues do not want to sell, though, and it would take a “mammoth fee” to secure his services.
Why Everton cannot consider selling Ndiaye
Quite simply, the Blues cannot even consider the idea of selling the 25-year-old winger.
He is far too good, and the Toffees should not be in the habit of allowing their best players to depart, even if the fee is massive.
Moyes wants to take his side forward, and into the European qualification places and losing one of his best players would make that task even harder.
Position Played GD Points 9. Newcastle 23 +3 33 10. Everton 23 -1 33 11. Sunderland 23 -2 33 12. Brighton 23 +2 30
They need to add quality on top of what they already have, rather than having to replace a player with the quality that the Senegal star brings, as well as making a decision on Grealish’s future.
It would be a huge mistake if the Friedkin Group sanctioned an exit for the former Marseille man, and it would be the opposite of a show of intent, it would be a sign of weakness, giving in to one of their local rivals.
That is not what the Hill Dickinson Stadium outfit need, it would send the wrong message to supporters, and more importantly, to rival clubs, if they let him leave for Old Trafford.
They are not under financial pressure anymore, so there is absolutely no reason to sell, and they should tell United to look elsewhere, and that their star man is not for sale.
