France make title statement by obliterating Ireland in Six Nations opener

France have laid down an intimidating, brilliant marker. The last time these two sides met on a Thursday in Paris, was back in 1948 when a Jack Kyle-inspired Ireland won 13-6 and went on to win the Grand Slam.
