Hearts-mad radio host explodes in fit of rage over journalist’s put-down after defeat vs Falkirk: ‘Shut your face’
Hearts were knocked out of the Scottish Cup on Saturday as they suffered a shock penalty defeat to Falkirk after a 1-1 draw.
Derek McInnes has guided the Tynecastle side to a magical season to date, with the Jam Tarts on track to win the Scottish Premiership.
However, celebrations were paused on the weekend as Falkirk ended any chances of a surprise double come the end of the season.
On top of this, the Jambos’ title chances were also damaged with Lawerence Shankland forced off with an injury late on ahead of their massive tie with Celtic on the weekend.
As a result, the impact of the game and McInnes’ tactics have caused widespread debate, which has caused Hearts radio host, Ewen Cameron in explode in rage.

Ewen Cameron goes made after Hearts criticism
The defeat against Falkirk could have serious consequences going forward.
Not only are Hearts out of the competition, but the loss of Shankland going into the Celtic match could prove to be a deciding factor in the tie at Tynecastle.
Therefore, on STV Radio, journalist Ronnie Charters was quick to criticise Hearts and McInnes, with Cameron furiously butting in.
When Charters was making a point about Hearts’ front three, Cameron shouted: “I just said that Ronnie, you are not [expletive] listening! You are not listening to me.
Shortly after, Cameron then exclaimed: “You are talking about my club, and you are saying a lot of [expletive]. You are saying a lot of [expletive].
“I said the criticism I have of Derek McInnes is that he should have rotated the front three.
“You are having a pop at Hearts, and we have been a breath of fresh air. I have no issue with Hearts being out of the Scottish Cup.”

When Charters then interrupted him again, Cameron shouted: “Let me make my [expletive] point,” and he then went on to say, “I’m making my point, you shut your face!
“Listen to the point I am making. I don’t mind as a Hearts fan being out of the Scottish Cup, as we, as Hearts, can now concentrate on the league, and put everything into it to win it.
“We are six points clear at the top of the table and have not been in this position for 40 years.
“I’d rather be where we are right now and be out of the Scottish Cup, than be in the Scottish Cup and not top of the league.”
From here, Cameron failed to calm down, with Charters’ interruptions sparking further fury from the Hearts-made presenter.
What has Derek McInnes said about Lawerence Shankland’s injury?
One of the biggest concerns over the next week will be how long the Hearts captain is out for.
Shankland has easily been one of Hearts’ best players this season, with the striker already netting 15 goals in all competitions this season.
On top of this, the striker has an amazing record against Celtic.
To date, he has scored seven times against the Hoops in 13 appearances, including picking up a goal and an assist in their 3-1 win at Tynecastle earlier this season.

However, it does not look good for Hearts fans, with McInnes confirming that the striker is a doubt for the tie on the weekend.
When asked about Shankland’s situation, he told Hearts Standard after the Falkirk defeat: “Not great, I don’t think. I don’t know exactly what he’s done. Again, when it comes to penalties, you want to keep him on for obvious reasons.
“He doesn’t look good for next week anyway. It just didn’t look good, the fact he had to come off.”
