Ibrox View: Rangers player may have started final game as Rohl has unorthodox option
Jayden Meghoma may be replaced by Dujon Sterling at left-back as Rangers face Falkirk in the William Hill Premiership on Sunday.
James Tavernier could possibly return to the starting lineup at Falkirk Stadium on 12 April, with the captain an undoubted attacking threat.
Sterling undoubtedly brings defensive stability to the Light Blues and Danny Rohl could potentially decide to shift him to the left side of defence, which would certainly be a bit unorthodox.
Meghoma started for the first time after six matches in the 4-2 win over Dundee United, but that could have possibly been the last time he does so this season.
Rohl’s gunning for the William Hill Premiership title and getting his team right for the final six matches will be pivotal for the German manager.

Jayden Meghoma and Dujon Sterling season in numbers at Rangers
Tavernier can prove to be influential in the Gers’ run to league success, having scored 14 goals and provided six assists in all competitions this season.
The 34-year-old should be the first name on the teamsheet for Rohl, leaving the German manager with a dilemma at left-back amid Tuur Rommens’ injury.
Dujon Sterling Statistics Jayden Meghoma 10 Appearances 26 6.88 Average Sofascore rating 6.71 1.2 Interceptions per game 0.6 3.9 Clearances per game 2.0 0.7 Blocked shots per game 0.1 1.1 (58%) Aerial duels won per game 0.3 (20%) 0.3 (43%) Successful dribbles per game 0.3 (37%)
While Meghoma is arguably a much better threat than Sterling going forward, there’s no doubting the right-back’s defensive qualities, bettering the Brentford loanee when it comes to interceptions, clearances, blocked shots and aerial duels won per game.
The former Chelsea ace is also slightly more comfortable on the ball, with 92 per cent passing accuracy in the Gers’ own half, while Meghoma has recorded 84 per cent.
It’s also clear that Sterling is physically stronger than the 19-year-old left-back and the 26-year-old right-back’s demeanour to focus more on his defensive work should give him a slight edge in Rohl’s plans.
Danny Rohl to show character in adversity at Ibrox
Rangers could be without Ryan Naderi for the rest of the season after the striker picked up an injury against Dundee United.

Rommens is also out for the trip to Falkirk, while Mikey Moore and Andreas Skov Olsen are doubts for the game.
The German manager’s character at Ibrox will be tested in the upcoming matches and it will be interesting to see how he deals with adversity at the Glaswegian outfit.
With the Govan side so close to glory, a calm and collected Rohl can help them navigate the storm.
