Ibrox View: Rohl sounds completely defeated as he delivers crushing injury update on Rangers star
Danny Rohl may have accepted defeat in the race to get Ryan Naderi back fit for Rangers before the end of the season.
The Bears travel to the Falkirk Stadium this Sunday in hopes of a chance to be top of the Scottish Premiership for the first time this campaign, but they will be without their key German star.
A win could see them top at the break, but Gers will also need to hope that Hearts slip up in their fixture against Motherwell.
Naderi suffered his injury in the win against Dundee United, and the Bears fear the worst after scans.
Bojan Mivoski could replace Naderi if given the chance, but it’s highly likely that Rohl will look to start Youssef Chermiti this weekend.

What did Danny Rohl say about Ryan Naderi’s injury?
Rangers have already had big injury blows this season, but Naderi could be the biggest setback of them all.
The Bears will know that their hopes now depend on Chermiti to fire them to the league title, and that’s not something that they will be entirely confident about.

Speaking to the media ahead of the game, Rohl sounded completely defeated in his update on Naderi.
The Rangers boss said: “Ryan Naderi has a serious injury. We have assessed him, but we will just take it week by week.
“We are monitoring him, and we don’t know if he will be back before the end of the season. Ryan has made a great impact since his arrival. It’s football, but we have a lot of players who can fill in.”
The Gers have looked great with the young forward up top in partnership with Chermiti, but will now have to find another way to break teams down.
Why Rohl needs to pay most attention to Falkirk game more than any other
Just six games remain for the Gers, and the prospect of being in the driving seat at the break before the split will appeal to Rohl and his players.
The Bears have seen an overall tremendous upturn in results since the German’s arrival, and they are not far off completing what would be one of the greatest comebacks in Scottish football history.
However, with Rangers also set to play Falkirk on the last game of the season, Sunday gives Rohl the perfect chance to study his opposition in-game.
He will, of course, have to focus on his own team’s display, but there is a high chance that everything in the season will boil down to when Gers face Falkirk on the final day.
