Ibrox View: Rohl's 'no question' response suggests internal confidence over Rangers star's long-term stay
Danny Rohl is keeping no secrets about the fact that he wants Mikey Moore to stay at Rangers, but that suggests a transfer may not be out of the realm of possibility.
The Bears smashed Aberdeen 4-1 at Ibrox this Saturday, as Moore got his name on the scoresheet for the sixth time in the Scottish Premiership.
Gers signed the winger from Tottenham on a season-long loan, and many supporters feel like they are wishful thinking when it comes to his potential permanent stay.
The 18-year-old is rated highly by internal figures at Spurs, but as seen with some Premier League clubs these days, they don’t give a chance to some of their youngsters, selling them on early for easy profit.
Rohl wants to keep Moore at Rangers, but he wouldn’t be coming out and saying so if the 49ers have already told him no.
🚨 RANGERS TRANSFER UPDATE 🚨
The latest breaking news on signings, departures, and Danny Röhl’s primary targets.
What did Danny Rohl say about Mikey Moore after Aberdeen?
Moore has gained plaudits for his performance against Aberdeen, with his goal just one of the many positives that he brought to the light blues in the match.
He’s not a goal-scoring machine; however, he offers much more than just attacking output, with the Englishman also an Ibrox favourite for his work ethic.

Speaking to the media after the result over the Dons, Rohl admitted his wish to keep Moore at Ibrox for next season.
Rohl said: “There’s no question about it. I have a fantastic owner; conversations are always there. You can see Mikey enjoys playing for Rangers.
“I like him, he’s a key player, and there are a lot of good things about him. But we know he’s still not our player.”
Just the way Rohl answered with a smirk on his face, and the way he said his response, highlights that a permanent move isn’t off the table.
Andrew Cavenagh has called big shots since arriving in Glasgow, and it would be no surprise to see him chuck the big bucks at Tottenham for their youth gem this summer.
This is why Moore’s transfer value isn’t out of reach for Rangers
Rangers have spent in the region of £30million on transfers from both the winter and summer windows combined.
Many players have come through the doors at Auchenhowie in the last 12 months, but some big names have also left and not looked back.

The winter dealings seem to have been a success, and going into the summer window, the biggest hole in Rangers’ squad will be Moore-shaped when he returns to his parent club.
There won’t be many areas where the Gers need to upgrade, which gives the 49ers almost all the more reason to go for the teenager permanently, and use most of the budget for his signature.
Rohl’s response has surely only added fuel to the fire; it’s possible.
